The software crashes and is very slow. The tutorial is out of date for the current version of Lightburn. There’s not much information on how to engrave. In short, it’s lagging behind the competition. I’m having a lot of trouble getting it to engrave metal and wood.

There were particles on the lens, so I cleaned it using the swab and isopropyl alcohol the alcohol fumes got into the inner assembly and formed a thin film on one of the lenses. I then took the theta lens apart dissembled it into 3 lens cleaned them individually with acetone and tiffen wipes(lens paper). Thankfully they also gift you another theta lens so I could just switch it and have this as a spare

The product itself is great, some people will say it has trouble with metals. My assumption is they have the workpiece out of the focal point. It absolutely obliterates everything when focused.

I got the M2 a few weeks ago and I'm really happy with the machine.
Shipping was really quick and everything arrived in good shape.

As a small metal fab shop, there is no other laser machine that beats the value for money in my opinion.
The software is a bit intimidating at first but once you get used to it, it's really easy and you have a lot of control over the machine. You are not forced to use only the manufacturers settings.

There are a few negative details, like servo noise and a sticky dovetail connection for the laser gun. But at this price point you can't expect heavy duty industrial quality.

I can recommend this machine for everyone who works with sheet metal and can't justify a big industrial scale laser cutter.

There are no instructions, no user videos on You Tube, we can't work with it

the machine works great, no problem at all, the red dots to set the focus is some what limited. TIP: cut a stick 261mm and use as a ruler.

one thing i miss from my diod laser is a camera for easy alinement. but maybe that will come as an addon.

Took a while to get my head around creating and loading but once over that hurdle the results where much better than expected. very happy with my purchase

The only bad point about my delivery was that DHL fucked up the pickup. This in not the fault of Gweike. But even with this delay, the machine arrive even before the 2 week predicted delivery time. Unpacked it all and found all content as expected. The top of the machine had a little dent, but that only on the front metal sheet overhanging and no functional part anyway. Installed everything, had the manual donwloaded since week and watched the videos a few times, so setup was fast.Cleaning tryout after like 20min setup, cutting a few minutes later, first welds with the included copper wire after roughly one hour. The only point I could not find in the manual was the fact, that you have to hold the button for a fw seconds first, to activate and make the green LED switch on and start only after that. A good safety feature,but maybe some hint in the manual would help to think of it right away. All test done so far were successfull. Of course I need to practise weldign some more to get "nicer" welds. But even the firsts ones could take high forces and i could not break them. For an untrained person this is a good start. So overall the machines is woth its money by far. Had a few chars with the service to answer some very specific question and got an answers either right away, on via mail shortly after. Tire feeding cable could be a bit longer to math the length of the laser cable because I got both unite on a self-made cart, but maybe I will exhange that later on. ot sure yet. Playing with setting for stainless steel wire now because i dont like the copper. Stainless should be welded with higher grade stainledd. As well, I will only use Argon, not Nitrogen. This is what I'm use to. Pictiure will follow later. Now more playing around to get more experience, and waiting for th MCore machine to arrive.

This machine seems very efficient; I just received it this morning and I'm still unpacking it...
What I see needs to be changed: the rear opening is limited by the CO2 tube supports, which prevents the passage of sheets 1500 mm wide, the European standard.

Another point: a camera absolutely must be installed in this machine. I plan to do so because the control software allows it...
Another feature that will greatly improve the machine: the fact that the Lightburn software is implemented on this machine, for both CO2 and fiber processing.
I love the machine's structure and its very high rigidity; I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this investment!

Fast delivery to Finland, machinery was ok, but free Gweike program is not good, and Lightburn program cost about 200 €/year. And programmin takes lot time at everything is working. Not so simple. Need lot studying.

I love this device. It works very smooth, but I have one question though.
I have found and set the nul (0) position for the X and y. But when i place the square part exactly to these boundary, the text is created 5 mm Lower than it should.
Well, thats my only quest.
